Ship Parcels

Please be informed that as of 01/03/2003, Saudi Customs has stopped “The Ships Stores in Transit Parcels” and will only allow clearance against paying custom duty of 5% for CIF value.

Clearance Process would require original documents (Commercial Invoice and Certificate of Origin) duly attested by Saudi Consulate for all parcels that value exceeded USD 2600.00.

In absence of Original documents, clearance can be obtained against document copies and undertaking letter to submit originals within 30 days.

Thus, failing in submitting original document may result in imposing heavy fine by Customs Authority in addition to suspending of future shipments.
